Weather: A few showers, risk of T-storms Wednesday

June gets a cool start with a forecast high of just 18 C and some wet weather on tap for Wednesday.

A few showers should end late in the afternoon then it’s cloudy with a 40 per cent of showers, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.

There’s the risk of thunderstorms during the day and in the evening.

Wednesday night is expected to dip to 14 C with a 40 per cent chance of showers.

Thursday’s outlook is overcast with a high of 22 C and a humidex of 26 then cloudy and 14 C overnight.

Rain is in the forecast for Friday with a high of 18 C. There’s a 30 per cent chance of showers Friday night and an expected low of 11 C.

Saturday looks gorgeous: sunny with a high of 21 C then clear and 11 C Saturday night.

A mix of sun and cloud and a high of 24 C are predicted for Sunday with a 60 per cent chance of showers Sunday night, when the forecast low is 13 C.

“Normals” for this time of year are highs of 22 C and lows of 12 C.
