Two more OC Transpo bus drivers test positive for COVID-19

Two more OC Transpo bus drivers have tested positive for COVID-19, Transpo boss Renée Amilcar reported Thursday.

The “key dates” (48 hours before they developed symptoms, according to Ottawa Public Health) are Dec. 23, 24, 26, 27 and 28. OC Transpo has a full list of affected routes on its website.

The bus drivers are self-isolating, and transit users concerned about exposure can call OPH at 613-580-6744 to speak to a public health nurse or visit the health unit’s website: .

In just the last week, seven COVID-19 cases have been confirmed among OC or Para Transpo drivers or LRT operators.
