Two people escaped injury when a small plane crashed at the Carp airport on Saturday.
Ottawa firefighters received a call from paramedics at 12:56 p.m. about the crash at the south side of the airport.
There was no smoke or fire, and both fuel tanks on the plane were undamaged, Ottawa Fire Services said.
Fire service photographs showed the small yellow-and-black plane upright, but nose down, in a grassy area at the airport.
Firefighters learned two people who had been in the plane made their way back to one of the main airport buildings.
According to paramedics, no one needed to be transported to hospital for treatment.
