A man was taken to hospital in serious condition after emergency crews responded to reports of an early Saturday morning shooting.
Police received reports of the shooting around 1 Street S.W. and 14 Avenue S.W. around 4:43 a.m.
CPS confirmed later in the day that a single man was taken to hospital. The road remained closed to traffic around 10:30 a.m. as investigators remained on scene. It is unclear if the victim and the shooter were known to each other.
No one has been taken into custody.
